Northern Ontario Plant Database

Provides up-to-date and accurate information on the flora of northern Ontario; free public access to records of herbarium specimens housed in northern Ontario educational and government institutions. NOPD documents information from herbarium specimens containing over 46,000 herbarium specimens from Algoma University College, Lakehead University, Sault College of Applied Arts and Technologies, and Lake Superior State University. The NOPD project is led by botanist and Sault Naturalist Sue Meades, adjunct professor at Algoma University College.
