Sault Ste Marie City Council, has approved the “adoption” by the Sault Naturalists, of Wishart Park, as part of our environmental cleanup program. The park is located one mile east of Hwy 17N on Fourth Line.

An outing for the cleanup is scheduled for Sat. Nov. 10. See the Upcoming Outings schedule for details and check the website, as there may be a prior excursion to view gulls. Mark it on your calendar! This is an opportunity for our club to take action on the litter problem in one of our local parks.

Spring Cleanup, May 22, 2008

  The Sault Naturalists cleaned up the roadsides, parking area and parts of adjacent trails at Wishart Park On Thurday, May 22.  Participating members were: Helen Hutchinson, Doreen Guerriero, Wendy Lalouette, Gail Andrew, Tony Walker, and Gerry and Betty Bennett.  The next cleanup will be held in the fall of 2008.
